The Bank “Finance and Credit” granted a loan of over UAH 1million in the framework of joint program with German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF)

April 23, 2009 in the framework of joint program of SME clients' support of the Bank 'Finance and Credit' and German-Ukrainian Fund there was granted a loan in the amount of UAH 1, 160 million.
In August 2008 the Bank 'Finance and Credit' and German-Ukrainian Fund in the framework of project development 'The refunding program on support of credit program in rural areas' the loan agreement was signed in the amount of EURO 1 million for the term of 5 years. The actual program is directed on SME development in towns with population rate of up to 100 thousand by means of loan provision for SME clients on preferential terms.
According to the Head of the department of SME products development of the Bank 'Finance and Credit' Vitaliy Synenko: "We closely collaborate with German-Ukrainian Fund. On the whole, during the continuance of Bank program there was granted over UAH 1,4 million for SME clients. It should be noted that in the complicated economic situation the support and development of perspective from the point of commercial effectiveness projects are very important, especially it is important for SME segment in regions".

The German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF) was created in September 1996. The founders of GUF are German Credit institution of reconstruction (KfW), the National Bank of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. GUF provides credit funds on preferable terms to the Banks of Ukraine with the aim of contribution to further development of micro- and small business enterprises by the way of loan provision via these banks.
The loan portfolio of the Bank 'Finance and Credit' by the program for small business as of 01.04.2009 made up UAH 671, 143 million. As of 01.04.2009 the quantity of valid Bank agreements on credit products of SME segment - over 6 thousand.
