Bank Finance and Credit to launch a Program of Domestic Manufacturer Support

    In January 2009 Bank Finance and Credit approved a new Program of Domestic manufacturer Support with credit funds limit of UAH 600 million.
    To stir up SME activity within the framework of the Program Bank Finance and Credit has laid out UAH 300 million for a customer program AvtoKrAZ on Credit.
     According to the Deputy Chairman of the Board, Bank Finance and Credit, Oleg Shapkin - `Practically a half of the total program credit limit - UAH 300 million – is intended for those entities wanting to purchase any vehicle manufactured by AvtoKraZ.
    The maximum credit term is 3 years, whereas an obligatory share of customer own funds is no less than 10% of the value of vehicle purchased.

Information:

    Bank Finance and Credit was founded in 1990 and is one of the largest banks in Ukraine by its assets according to the NBU classification. Charter capital of the bank as of 01.01.2009 amounts to UAH 2 billion. Net assets of the Bank as of 01.01.2009 amount to UAH 18.439 billion, the bank`s liabilities make up UAH 15.963 billion. Loan portfolio of the bank as of 01.01.2009 made up UAH 15.740, deposit portfolio as of 01.01.2009 amounts to UAH 10.324 billion. Bank serves over 157 thousand retail term deposit accounts, as well as over 235 thousand current accounts. Retail loan portfolio of the Bank Finance and Credit as of 01.01.2009 made up UAH 6.240 billion.
    As of 01.01.2009 the number of payment cards VISA and MasterCard issued by the Bank Finance and Credit equals to about 940 thousand. The bank`s own card business infrastructure includes 4,144 outlets and 540 cash withdrawal points. Joint ATM network of the Bank Finance and Credit, Ukrsibbank, Ukrsotsbank, Praveksbank and Rodovid bank consists of 3,649 ATMs. As of 01.01.2009 the system of the Bank Finance and Credit includes 16 branches and 365 outlets all over Ukraine. Financial result of the Bank`s activity at year-end 2008 made up UAH 142.59 million.

     AvtoKraz Holding Company (OJSC) was founded in 1996 and consists of 13 Ukrainian enterprises. Main business activities include trucks with carrying capacity of 5-30 ton, railway cars, ea and river crafts, oil and gas equipment, wide range of spare parts for autos and railway transport. AvtoKraZ has been a strategic partner of the Bank Finance and Credit since 1999. In 2008 Kremenchug Car Factory produced 3,634 KrAZ autos, including auto assembling sets. Customers received goods for the total amount of UAH 1.024 billion.
     The company retained its position in both domestic and international markets having delivered 1,097 vehicles to Ukraine in 2008, 1,088 – to Russia, 163 trucks – to Turkmenistan, 113 – to Azerbaijan and 205 vehicles to other CIS countries.
     In 2008 AvtoKraZ holding company directed UAH 50 million for modernization of manufacturing.
