Employees of the Bank Finance and Credit donated part of themselves to kids

    In January 2009 Bank Finance and Credit carried out the first part of the Blood-Donor Day campaign dedicated to the forthcoming International Day of Children with Cancer. Blood donated by score of employees of the head office and Kiev outlets of the Bank was submitted to the children`s oncohematological department of the Kiev region hospital No.1.
    Blood-donation problem is particularly acute now in all Ukrainian cities, especially in holiday season when blood stations are almost empty. That`s why employees of donation centers are happy at getting every gram of donated blood.
    According to Natalia Napadovska, PR Director, Bank Finance and Credit, - `All the participants of the action were brimming with high spirits, irradiated optimism and aspiration for providing help to children with cancer and have not changed their attitude after the campaign was finished. Many of them left the Center being confident that they would return here in some time to donate more blood`.
    Currently the standard portion of one blood donation by a first-time adult-donor makes up 390 gram. Whereas bank «record-holders» donated 450 and even 480 gram.
    One of the campaign participants Vadim Kvartsiany said - `I hope that employees of the Bank will lead the way to other people and will show them that charity is a prerogative of not only large corporations and millionaires. A true charity is when you donate part of yourself`.

     Bank Finance and Credit is one of the active participants of various charity projects. In 2007 the Bank took part in a charity project called Children`s Hospital of the Future. Besides, it supported a Kiev children tuberculosis prophylactic center, funded a boarding school in Kiev region and performed a range of other projects.
     In the course of some years the Bank has been providing a constant financial support to such charity organizations as a War Veterans Protection Fund, Press Veterans Fund, it works with a range of social services and organizations. In 2008 the Bank purchased 26 special beds for a maternity hospital No.5 in Kiev. Apart from that, in December 2008 the Bank finished the first part of a promo action called Donate Books to School Libraries, whining the framework of which about 2 thousand educating and entertaining books were donated to the boarding school in Vinnitsa region.
    The Bank has been a permanent sponsor and a partner of football games of Poltava football club Vorskla.
