Moody's increased “Finance and Credit” Bank’s rating

International rating agency Moody's Investors Service increased ratings of long-term liabilities in foreign currency of "Finance and Credit" Bank up to B1 from B2 and Bank rating by national scale up to Aa3.ua from A1.ua. The rating forecast is "stable". According to agency information the increase has completed the revision of these ratings initiated in December 2007. Moody's in addition confirmed the rating of financial stability of "Finance and Credit" Bank E+ with "stable" forecast and its long-term rating of liabilities in foreign currency B2 with forecast "positive", which answers the highest indices for such liabilities in Ukraine. Apart from the fact the agency confirmed the short-term ratings Not Prime. Moody's specifies that such actions reflect Bank ability to strengthen its strong market position as one of the 15th largest in Ukraine, its diversification by means of retail, which occupies one third of Bank crediting, broadening of territory presence and proved maintenance of shareholders to Bank growth.
Reference: According to the data provided by the National Bank of Ukraine by the amount of assets as of 01.07.2008 (UAH 15,763 bln.) "Finance and Credit" Bank took the 13th position among 178 banks in the country.
