"Finance and Credit" Bank was the first in Commonwealth of Independent States to import USD 5 banknotes to the territory of Ukraine

       In March 2008 a new USD 5 banknote was implemented in turnover in the USA. 28.03.2008 "Finance and Credit" Bank which is considered to be absolute leader in foreign currency import to Ukraine, the first in Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States to import a new USD 5 banknote.
The banknote with new improved protection has two new watermarks. To the right of Lincoln image there is a large sign in the form of number "5" of large-scale, which is made specially for partially sighted. The additional watermark is a column, consisting from three numbers "5" in small print, located on the left from the portrait.
Furthermore a vertical protective strip is implemented in the banknote to the right of Lincoln image, which includes alternation of words "USA FIVE" and number "5". In the ultraviolet the strip must gleam in blue. Besides, a new American symbol of freedom was added - a large seal of the USA with imprint of eagle and lilac shield. It is printed on the right of the president's portrait, and Lincoln is surrounded by the arch from lilac stars. The image of Lincoln memorial in new variant is encircled by the sky with thick clouds, and the president was deprived of oval boarder, which rounded him up on old banknotes.
The biggest difference is the implementation of light-lilac colour in the centre of the banknote, proceeding to grey. A small yellow inscription "05" is printed on the left of the portrait on the front banknote side and on the right of the Memorial on the reverse side. The paper of the new banknote is quarter linen and three forth from cotton and comprises red and blue fibres.

     "Finance and Credit" Bank was founded in 1990 and by total assets it enters the group of the largest banks according to NBU 
classification. As of 01.03.2008 authorized capital of the Bank made up UAH 1,277 bln.
As of 01.03.2008 the Bank's net assets were UAH 14, 023 bln., liabilities totalled to UAH 12, 237 bln. The Bank's loan portfolio reached 
UAH 11, 277 bln. The amount of attracted funds as for 01.03.2008 was UAH 9, 082 bln.
The Bank services over 112 thousand of urgent deposit account of individuals, in addition over 197 thousand of current accounts. Loan  portfolio of individuals of "Finance and Credit" Bank as for 01.03.2008 made up UAH 4, 443 bln.
      As of 01.03.2008 "Finance and Credit" Bank emitted over 665 thd. of payment cards of international payment systems «VISA» 
«MasterCard». The infrastructure of card business numbers 395 own ATMs, over 498 cash withdrawal outlets and 2 955 trade servicing 
centres.
      As of 01.03.2008 "Finance and Credit" Bank system includes 16 branch offices and 384 non-balance offices in all Ukrainian regions.
      As of the financial result of "Finance and Credit" Bank work since the beginning of 2008 has made up UAH 4, 240 mln.
